They are the prettiest ship on Persephone and the preferred vessel for smugglers for all those nooks and crannies, but ain’t a crate in the ‘verse in more need of constant service upkeep than the old firefly class transports.
Sure, you might find yourself in a spot of bother in a Firefly, shield plates falling off and interesting landings (Oh God Oh God. We’re all going to die), so you’d best be keeping your Firefly well serviced.
And unless you’ve got a mechanic the likes of Kaylee, you’ll be needing the Firefly Service and Repair Manual to stop your Firefly from dropping out of the sky.
