The Beatles are undoubtedly one of the most famous and popular bands of all time. They were a musical sensation across the globe with Beatlemania sweeping the world. And did I mention that they were aliens?
Yep, that’s right. They’re from an intergalactic race of alien bugs – The Beatles – who came to Earth to share a simple message: Keep Calm and Rock On.
It all makes perfect sense if you think about it – just look at their songs: Across the Universe, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (remember the Doctor Who Utopia episode), I Am the Walrus, Eight Days a Week, Nowhere Man. Each and every one of these is a reference to their off-world experiences, except Nowhere Man, which describes their emotional separation from their homeworld.
This design chronicles the band’s moments on Earth. Singing When I Get Home, The Beatles cross Abbey Road to hitch a ride home with Doctor Who in the TARDIS. This simple words Mission Complete complement the design, while the background shows the Union Jack with the words When I Get Home. You may also notice Harry Potter in the background practicing Quidditch.
