Fans of Arrested Development are all to familiar with the phrase “I need a favor“, having been said by each family to Michael at some stage.
Inspired by Michael’s response “We should put that on our family crest”, The Bluth Family Crest features the family crest and a number of running gags from the hit show, including the stair-car, the bananas from the banana stand, the chicken, the clapper-board from Tobias’ non-existent acting career and the chicken representing the chicken dance.
The crest itself represents each of the adult Bluth siblings – from Luceille’s martini to Buster’s hook-hand to the cards and knife from GOB’s magic tricks, sorry, illusions – along with the family motto “I need a favor”, together with a crack in the crest, which pretty much sums up the Bluths.
